DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a versatile, disciplined DevOps Engineer to support our software engineers and our deployment pipelines. This role will share responsibility for operating, growing and securing our production and development environments. Our DevOps team is committed to continuous improvement, continuous deployment, and Infrastructure as code(IaC) in the AWS and GCP clouds. We believe containerization is the future. We’re looking for someone who can deal gracefully with rapid growth and massive data while refining our security posture and polishing our delivery pipeline.

RevKong practices agile engineering, with over 30 applications developed and supported internally.

We are polyglot, primarily using C#, Python, Java to work our magic. Substantial portions of our workload are containerized or serverless, and we are continually evaluating and adopting new tools, processes and ideas.

What You Bring to the Table:

Experience doing or supporting software engineering
Experience with containerization and cloud computing
Hands-on self-starter who rides the cutting edge
Our Ideal Candidate Knows:

CD/CI processes and toolchains (Jenkins pipelines)
IaC tools and concepts (Terraform, Cloudformation, Deployment Manager, Chef, etc)
Programming experience (C#, Python, Java, Jenkins pipelines (groovy) )
2 or more years of professional experience with GCP or AWS platforms
Kubernetes (we use GKE)
Monitoring and log management (Datadog, Stackdriver, Cloudwatch, New Relic, Rollbar)
Some familiarity with testing frameworks and test management tools (JMeter, Selenium, Testrail, etc)
Atlassian product suite: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
